STYLED: The Harness Bra

I mentioned Harness Bras in one of my recent posts and I'm going to go ahead and stick by my prediction that these will be EVERYWHERE this summer. I'm also going to predict some vile tan lines, fashion over functionality and all that... I would like to avoid any references to a particular (and might I add - shit) film which recently featured bondage and skip right back to the fundamental  "Underwear as Outwear" ethos, based predominantly upon the art of suggestion

"Here are pieces of Material whose visual effectiveness is in inverse proportion to their size"

- Agent Provocateur (1992), The A to Z of Style "Lingerie"

Those of you who follow my Instagram account will be seeing me style my Harness Bra in numerous different ways over the coming weeks as we transition into SS15. This is how I styled the piece recently for casual mid-week drinks, prompting the response: "Jesus, don't you ever dress down?"

Harness Bra: Harness Brazaar
Chiffon Cami: Urban Outfitters
Leather Jeans: MissPap
Shoes: MissSelfridge (S/O)

Lipstick: MAC "Dubonnet"

The Harness comes in one size, it's easy to wear and provides a sexy twist to any outfit. They're also cheap as chips, retailing at £12. Seriously. I wore a little Topshop bodysuit under my top to give my little boobs a helping hand but these Harnesses actually look better when you go braless as they tend to speak for themselves. They also work really well with the open fronted shirts and jumpsuits currently lining the highstreet shelves, perfect for those of you with an enviable bit of sideboob to flaunt. Not me though

You can order your Harness Brazaar Harness directly from Instagram or via the Depop Market
