July Wishlist

Sorry but where did June go? I think the fact that we actually had some sun made the whole thing pass in a bit of blur and now suddenly here we are in July. I don't think I'm quite ready for July yet. Even more scary is that my baby is due next month. So we'd better crack on with the July wishlist before Augusts list becomes Pampers and dummies and nipple cream... Glamorous

These are my must-haves for June. My wishlist. Or to be more accurate: The things I will be steadily and stealthily purchasing over the course of June whilst pretending I’ve had them for ages in order to avoid the stern financial advice of my mother

First up is the GOSH Eye Brow Kit Multi, this is less of a "Wishlist" item and more of an essential purchase as I absolutely swear by these kits and my current one is very much on it's last legs. The kit contains three powder shades, great for blending and matching as well as a handy little wax setting cream to keep your fabulous brow creations in place. These kits are brilliant if you aren't sure about brows and like me, don't fancy forking out to have someone mess about with them. I usually outline my brows using a brow pencil, any will do but I use a Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil before filling in with one of the GOSH powders and setting with the gel

Next up is L'Occtaine Immortelle Divine Lotion, a pre-moisturiser lotion which smooths, renews and hydrates skin in preparation of creams or serums at night or make-up primers and bases in the morning. I was lucky enough to get hold of one of the limited edition British Beauty Blogger boxes for Latest in Beauty and this little gem was tucked away inside. It really is amazing stuff and softened my skin almost instantly, it feels like your face is literally drinking it. It also aids cellural renewal making it a stand out anti-aging product - we should all be thinking about anti-ageing products no matter what our current age. The full size is definitely on my July wishlist as my trial size bottle comes to an end, it's a MUST-BUY for these dry summer months where your skin can easily become dehydrated

I keep eyeing up these beautiful Tassle Garlands on various websites, but I can't quite bring myself to fork our £20 + postage for some glorified party decorations. Instead I've found a few tutorial videos for these online and ordered some pretty papers and foils to have a go myself. Watch this space for a post, provided they go to plan of course! If DIY is not for you then you can buy your own pre-made custom garlands

I'm very excited to try the new Max Factor Colour Corrector Stick in Green. My skin has been amazingly clear and healthy recently, the best it's ever been thanks to my new "Summer Skincare Routine" - Click to Read.  This revolution in concealer is definitely one I'll be adding to my routine as the heat tends to turn my cheeks a little pink and it's green colour neutralises the red tones. The Corrector sticks also come in a range of other colours which target specific skin issues such as dullness and under-eye circles

I really love the Hello Miss Apple collections. But I really don't love that they currently have no UK stockists. I'm loathe to pay the dreaded international delivery charges but their watches are so pretty it's almost (almost) worth it. I'll continue this internal battle with myself throughout July. Lets see if I've given in and succumbed to some shiny new wristwear by the August Wishlist. Place ya bets

And finally on my wishlist, another import... Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil. Skincare science has come a long way in recent years and it turns out that putting oil on your face is actually beneficial to skin - provided of course that you are investing in the right stuff.  This stuff is a natural plant based oil, free of Parabens, Sulphates and basically ALL the chemical junk which is usually chucked into facial oil products. It's replenishing, moisturising and anti-ageing. Which is why I am currently bidding away on eBay for it and scouring various beauty blogs and websites. This is definitely one I'll have given in and purchased by next month as it'll see me right through to winter.

    1. Thank you! I'm soooooo excited to meet my baby girl, it's been a long wait!

The GOSH kits are really good to play around with, especially if you like to change your brow look. Sometimes I like a statement brow and sometimes I like them understated, which is why I've never opted for any SP brow treatments

My blog was designed by "Pretty Wild Things," there's a link on the sidebar and they do some amazing stuff :)

  5. Stay tuned! I think my garland making bits are arriving tomorrow so I can have a go over the weekend :)

The tutorials make it look easy but I do tend to struggle with these fiddly projects!
