YesTo Skincare

It's not often that I blog about a product after just one use but this stuff definitely warrants being the exception to the rule. My skin has been pretty terrible this week, sleepless nights with the puppy have meant my uneven skintone has made a reappearance alongside those dreaded big dark circles under my eyes. Noticing the Yes To range in Boots I thought I'd give it a whirl, after all the range boasts up to 99% natural ingredients and I'm a sucker for a gimmick. The skincare range comes in some pretty wacky flavours; Carrots, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Blueberries and Grapefruit. The uneven skintone range came in Grapefruit flavour which was as stroke of luck given that I'm still in my Citrus obsession phase (See my May Must Haves post).  I opted for the "Daily Facial Scrub" and the "Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream" both aimed at targeting my uneven skintone - Take THAT Skin!

First off, The Scrub. It smelt AMAZING... Really. I was tempted to lick it. Don't worry, I didn't.
Sniff-factor aside, the scrub has lots of fine grains which is perfect for a really intensive treatment. I've wasted far too much money buying scrubs with lots of large ineffective grains but this stuff left my skin feeling fresh, clean and instantly improved.

Next the Eye-Cream, this stuff has a really thick texture meaning a little goes a long way and again it smells delightful. I felt like my face had been given a big grapefruity cuddle going to bed last night.

When I woke up this morning I could instantly see an improvement in my under eye area and I used the litmus test of BB Application to check out how the scrub had performed - Guess what? It was an even application, 100% improvement from the previous day when I hadn't yet used the product.

As well as a range for uneven skintone, they also have ranges for Normal-Dy Skin, Sensitive Skin, Combination/Acne prone skin and Fine lined and wrinkled skin.

"YES TO products work because we never compromise. Our products are always at least 95% natural, free of parabens, petroleum, phthalates and SLS, and made with recyclable materials"

I would definitely recommend trying the products if you are looking to change up your skincare routine. The range is affordable and there are lots of products to try. I'm heading back tomorrow to pick up the rest of the Grapefruit range as I've been so impressed with my two purchases so far.

Boots currently stock the entire range with discounts on most products Click to Buy

Let me know if you try any of the Yes To range as I'd love to know what you all think.
Also check them out on Twitter as they are currently running a May Photographic Competition which you can get involved with

  2. I've never tried the Yes To Grapefruit range and have only tried the Yes To Cucumbers range - unfortunately it didn't work for me, but I'd be interested in trying the other products from the brand!

    1. I've heard quite a lot of people say that they didn't get on with the Cucumber range so maybe YesTo need to rethink their formula on that one. I usually suffer from sensitive skin but was tempted more towards the Uneven/Grapefruit for my love of citrus so maybe actually that range is better for sensitivity? If you do give one of the other products a go let me know how you get on, it would be interesting to see whether its certain ranges within the YesTo brand that are causing problems or whether it's the general formula xx

  3. I've used the Yes to Carrots range before, and it didn't really work for me, but I would be interested in trying this range out! I have slightly uneven skin tone, and the scrub especially sounds good. Will have to keep an eye out in boots :) Great review!

    1. Let me know if you try it Lauren, having only used the Grapefruit I can't really give a comprehensive review of the brand as a whole so it would be interesting to see how other people get on xx

    1. It always seem to the be Cucumber wipes that are the problem! I don't know what YesTo have done them, after all they are marketed at sensitive skin so the fact that they cause irritation in the majority of cases is less than desirable.
