Orelia Jewellery

Don’t we all want to look like a million dollars without spending it?

I've been so excited to post about one of my all time favourite brands.  I first discovered Orelia in 2010 and they have remained one of my “go-to” jewellery brands ever since thanks to their wide range of collections and the absolute quality of their products.

Orelia began as a consultancy working with brands such as Accesorize and it was during this time that Orelia Founder, Louise recognised that there was a real gap in the market for jewellery that was between High Street and Designer level. Jewellery that used semi precious components and beads, combined with beautiful charms and amazing Swarovski elements yet at a price that wouldn't break the bank.

And Orelia have certainly managed to bridge that gap. It continues to amaze me that such beautifully designed and intricately put together pieces can remain so affordable but Orelia have stuck by their goal, meaning that I'm never stuck for a gift idea or a payday treat without incurring the wrath of my bank manager. And the wide range of influences the brand encapsulates also means that the fine elegant pieces are versatile enough to be worn season to season. The 2014 collections include; Morrocan Nights, Colonial Summer, Ditsy Necklaces, Geometric Styling, Hamsa, and Spring Florals

And they aren’t just an online brand. In the UK high-street giant Topshop have been stocking the brand now for some time. In February of this year I ventured to the Oxford Street store where Orelia first launched in 2008 in order to get my hands on the Spring Summer collection and I was not disappointed. In fact I was torn. In the end I only managed to whittle it down to two items and drag myself out of the shop having silently promised that I’d be ordering a fair few other items online. In fact I ordered them on the train home – I was in love with the collection.

My Orelia at Topshop Oxford Street choices: The Turquoise coin and disc necklace from the Moroccan Nights collection for spring/ summer. "This North African inspired necklace will add some colourful statement to your new season wardrobe" and The Pretty flower bead and hoop earrings. "These dainty earrings feature clusters of gold colour plated flower beads set on a hoop with a blue teardrop bead."
